The Fallen Angel Aviator Foundation is a 100% volunteer non profit focused on helping soldier and family. We are a local charity based out of Colorado and we rely on our dedicated men and women who give back their time and skills to ensure our cause provides the most impact to our Fallen Heroes Families. With over 100 volunteers who are mostly in the aviation industry, as well as our corporate sponsors we have made a positive impact in supporting those children, spouses and families left behind due to the loss of their military service member. We identify the gaps in traditional benefits to better support those who have lost so much. Our existence was made possible by George Boedecker and the Boedecker Foundation who graciously extended their time and funding to allow us to move forward. George Boedecker’s personal involvement, as well as his staff, in support of our United States Armed Forces is remarkable and gives great credit to the Boedecker Foundation and George Boedecker. George Boedecker’s personal success is timeless American story of perseverance, sacrifice, integrity and character in pursuit of the American Dream in the greatest country in the world. Defended by the greatest Armed Forces in the history of the world.
We have three designated funds each with its own line of effort. The Children’s Fund generally provides for the many after school and extra curricular activities which provide for character development in the absence of a parent. Individual sports equipment, music lessons, Summer Camps, Boy Scouts/Girl Scouts and similar type expenses can cost a single child upwards to a $2000 a year to participate. This can be a burden on many families
Our General Fund primarily focuses on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Addiction counseling for both families and Veterans.
The Memorial Fund allows for a fitting and permanent remembrance bringing some closure to our families and honoring those who have made the ultimate sacrifice to our great nation.
All our funds are dispersed directly to the services provided, funds are not dispersed directly family members in accordance non-profit guidelines. With no paid staff or board members, our expenses are limited to general administrative, accounting and legal services to maintain IRS regulatory requirements which allows us to give back almost all the funds raised. Although we are aviation centric, we are not aviation exclusive in our giving back. We are a Guide Star Gold Member participant committed to providing transparency and maintaining the trust of those we serve.
