Testimonials from Military Families

I wanted to take a moment to tell everyone I can how grateful I am of the Fallen Angel Aviator Foundation. On December 1st, 2014 Capt. Will "Pyro" DuBois was killed in a plane crash on a mission against ISIS in Jordon. Pyro was not only a badass pilot in the Air Force, he was also a great human being. He was from New Castle, Co. and a few of us that knew him, wanted to do something to honor our local Hero. We decided we wanted to put up a Memorial statue of Pyro. With the help from the Town of New Castle, they made a generous donation to get the Pyro Memorial Fund started, as well as donating a beautiful spot in one of the local parks where it will be dedicated on Sept. 10, 2016. We need to raise $100,000 to build the 8 foot bronze. We got in touch with this great organization for some support and guidance. Not only were you willing to help with a generous donation of your own, you are able to help with social media, press releases, getting other organizations to match donations, as well as many other things. We are getting closer to achieving our goal. From the members of the Pyro Memorial Fund, we want to say Thank You. We are touched. This memorial is going to be beautiful!! www.pyromemorial.org Thanks, John Lee Board Member Pyro Memorial Fund

The Fallen Angel Aviator Foundation is an exceptional organization true to their mission of serving Fallen Aviators, Air Crew Members, Fallen Comrades and their Families. In 2016, Fallen Angel Aviator Foundation graciously donated 100 percent of the funding required to send the surviving Gold Star Children of Fallen Aviators to Gold Star Teen Adventures Foundation programs. Their grant will be used to provide opportunities for the children of Fallen Heroes Chief Warrant Officer 3 Thomas Gibbons, Master Sergeant James Ponder III, Captain Bartt Owens, and Specialist Travis Vaughn. Thank you for your commitment to our Nation’s Warriors and their Families.

“Thank you for sponsoring my son and making sure that his hockey dreams become a reality. Seven years ago at the age of three he put on his first pair of ice skates and fell in love with a sport that has become the center of our lives. What you may not know is his father, Harry A. Winkler III (or Buck as many of his fellow soldiers called him), was killed in Iraq on November 12, 2006."
